CORNERSTONE STUDIOS worked with Henry Woo Architects for the City of Laguna Niguel on this addition and renovation project. Our work involved the re-design of the large rear patio, adding a front reception courtyard, and renovating the entire planting around the Center. The front reception courtyard incorporated a serpentine seat wall with colored concrete paving to match the back patio. For the rear patio, we added a stage with a trellis, additional trees to provide shade, colorful vines, and decorative potted plants to soften the building walls. The smooth concrete paving incorporates a warm tone with a small grid pattern to complement the building and to make the space inviting. The Center has held many events and weddings since its opening and has proven to be very popular with the community.
