Cornerstone Studios, Inc. provided streetscape improvements for Paseo de Valencia between Kennington Drive and Laguna Hills Drive/Stockport Street that involved the street widening and realignment to accommodate a dedicated bike path.  Our scope included the inventory of existing trees, landscape design of the raised median as well as the parkway with recycled tree grates, and locating the City monument signs.  Our landscape design conveys a dynamic and colorful streetscape while demonstrating drought tolerant and low maintenance principles.

We created photo-realistic 3d renderings to successfully demonstrate our design ideas of the proposed improvement to the council.  We also closely coordinated with the engineer to incorporate BMP design by using parkway and tree planters to divert and collect runoff.
